东岳药业成立于2001年，总公司（上海东岳生物化工有限公司）位于上海，生产基地（启东东岳药业有限公司）坐落于江苏省启东市，工厂已通过中国SFDA与日本PMDA认证。
东岳药业是由多名教授、博士领衔创办的高科技企业，主要从事抗组胺药，抗病毒、心血管、抗肿瘤类医药中间体及原料药的开发、研制、销售。在过去十几年里，东岳已成功开发了四十多个产品，并已投入商业化生产，销售遍布全球二十多个国家。
Dongyue Pharma was established in 2001. The parent company (Shanghai Dongyue Biochem Co., Ltd) is located in Shanghai, while the manufacturing site is situated in Qidong, Jiangsu province, the factory has been approved by SFDA & PMDA.
Dongyue Pharma is run by several doctors and professors and focuses on the R&D and sales of pharmaceutical intermediates and API for anti-histamines, anti-virus, cardiovascular and anti-tumor drugs. In the past decade, Dongyue has successfully developed more than 40 products that have been put into commercial production, the sales market has covered 20 countries.
